Vertical Seminar at Skyline Business School

Hi,

This is Rohit Sharma, student at Skyline Business School, Gurgaon.

We attend a seminar on marketing and product launch. We came to know about important techniques and various things which we have to keep in mind before any product launch. We understood that when there is a need of product launch we have to conduct market research and need to collect demographic data, psychographic data and past behavior pattern of customers so that it could be utilize for better launch. We have to be very careful while making any launch that we are going for :-
  • Existing Product in New Market (with/without adaptation)
  • New Product in Existing Market
  • New Product in New Market
  • Existing Product in Existing Market

So that effective strategy should be made for launch. We learn that two things are very important in conducting marketing research for product launch that Understanding how customers rate it in comparison to competition and Understanding how firm fares against benchmarks, domestic & global. After collecting such data we can go for the launch of product. During launching of any product awareness is important for that otherwise launch would be fail. It could be done by TV, Newspapers, Magazines, You Tube, Twitter, Face book, Blog Sites, Company Website, Mailers, Posters, Interviews, Articles, Seminars and Demonstrations with Initial Samples than product launch could be successful.
